FOUND ROAMING: Lost dog: Older Beagle
I found an older beagle in my yard early this morning in the Oakfield area. She didn’t have a collar on but was really friendly. She is a bit overweight and also has a large lump between her hind legs. I knocked on a few doors this morning but was unable to find her owner so I contacted Animal Control. If this is your dog please contact Animal Control at 490-4000 to get her back home. They also board lost dogs at the Homeward Bound Shelter in Burnside so you could contact them as well. Hope she finds her way back home.

FOUND ROAMING: English Setter, or similar, was found roaming on Hwy 102 near Bedford:
Found on Hwy 102 near Bedford Monday Feb 28th @ approx 10am. Dog was unaccompanied and crossing highway traffic. I picked him up to save him from being hit by a car.
Dog appears to be an English Setter and did not have any identification.
HRM Animal Control picked the dog up from me approximately 11:00am this morning. If you believe this to be your dog, please contact HRM Animal Control @ 490-1791

Katie got confused last night and ran away on main road from Oxford to Collingwood NS. She is a black lapdog 14 plus years young, who needs medications. She was tracked heading towards Oxford however the tracks ended with tire tracks.
