HAPPY ENDING: “Boomers” owner was found and as happy a reunion as that was, it was decided that the great folks who took Boomer in had more time for him… so the owner (good) recognized this and Boomer will be staying with his ‘foster’ family forever. Monday, November 7, 2011: Sighted: Roaming Dog: “My mother just saw a brown small size mixed breed (possibly part chihuahua) medium length fur dog running loose on the Waverley rd in Dartmouth. He or she then ran up Breeze drive, where she lost sight of him/her. The dog was wearing a collar and tags. He ran from her when she tried to coax him/her over. This was approximately 4:20-4:30 pm Monday.” If anyone has any information or more sightings please call HRM Animal Services: 490-4000.

My daughter found a dog on Brow of Mountain Road yesterday, Nov 1/11. As you can see from the picture above, she’s a black lab cross (crossed with what I don’t know). She had neither collar nor tags. We suspect she’s been on her own for a little while as she’s quite thin. She’s very friendly and has a great temperament.
