Found today, Friday October 28/11, at the corner of Central Ave and Ward Ave. in Greenwood – male Sheltie. He seems to be an older boy who is very friendly, and well groomed. In great condition except for being a little over weight.

We found this dog in downtown Kentville near The Kings County Advertiser Newspaper office On Friday Oct 28. He is now with the SPCA… 87 Cornwallis St, Kentville (902) 678-3647. He is very friendly, we hope he finds his way home! We have nicknamed him “Kevin” here in the office.

I am missing 2 dogs one is a white and black tick medium height dog, she is wearing a read collar and a invisable fence collar. Also a small tri colored beagle wearing a pink collar and invisable fence collar. Please call with ANY information. Lost around White Rock, noticed at 3:30 thursday october 27 in the afternoon.

Sighted: Roaming Dog: Sydney/playground on Argyle St. and Court St/CB co. MALE: Lab or mix – black with light coloured hair on paws and stomach, looks like a middle aged dog. Wearing blue collar with bone pattern–no tags. Found October 24th 2011. This pooch has escaped and is out roaming once again. Please contact: Animal Services at 539-7722.

FOUND DOG: Sydney/ Rotary Rd. area/CB MALE: Rottweiler – approx. 6 months old. Not wearing a collar. VERY FRIENDLY. Finder found him snuggled in with her dog – in his dog house. Oct.23/11 in the afternoon. Kristen brought him inside and he gets on well with her dog. He has a beautiful coat – very shiny. Obedient. FOUND DOG: Halifax,Theakston Ave. FEMALE: appears to be a Rat Terrier about 15 lbs. Wearing a collar and trailing a long line. Was found on Sat. Oct.22/11 at 9:45 pm. Timid and shy. This dog is now in the care of Animal Services. If you have any information please call 490-4000. Please cross post. FOUND DOG:Sydney/ Cottage Rd/ close to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. MALE: appears to be a lab cross, wearing a black collar with studding. Appeared on the finders porch on Sat. HAPPY ENDING: Taz is home safe and sound!! He was NOT hit by a car as rumoured, but simply picked up and taken to safety. Thanks so much to the kind person who saved this little dog, by getting him off the road. And thanks to all the people that shared and cared by spreading the word about lost Taz.
