Additional Notes: Our golden retriever went missing at around 2pm this afternoon (January 28) in the Lake George area near Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Her name is Darling and she is 14 months old. She was wearing a leather reversible collar. She weighs about 55 pounds (not a very big dog). She is very friendly and will approach anyone. Please share and help us find our baby.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!!! YIPPEEEEE!!! From the Owners: “Brutus is home!!!!!! He just came to the door about 10 minutes ago. Really skinny, feet are fine but had to chew through a snare to get home! He had the snare around his neck! Poor puppy!”  Thank you to all who cared and shared. Fantastic!! (1.26.13 – 1.29.13)

Additional Notes: Brutus is a very lovable dog. He loves kids and cats and gets along with other dogs. He is very friendly and responds to being called even by a whistle. He was in our yard at 10 am Saturday morning and was last seen chasing something(assuming the neighbor’s dog) into the back woods where he likes to play. He has a nice white crest on his chest which wraps half way around his neck, his face (muzzle) is black and he has one dew claw that is black the rest of his nails are white. His eyes are a little saggy on the bottom, and he looks like he has a slight underbite. Please, if you have seen him, we miss him so much!!!!

Most of all to Dawn who lives over by Mic Mac mall and saw Devon on her front lawn, invited him inside, and called HRM who connected her with us. Additional Notes: Lost around 10:30am Saturday morning in off leash portion of the park, does not usually wander.. While leashing a second dog Devon started following another person and disappeared.

Long hair border collie cross with distinctive black spots on his legs and feet wearing a blue harness. Friendly to people but usually indifferent toward other dogs. . Loves to “herd” lakes/streams, usually carrying a rock in his mouth as he does so. Not used to being in the city / being around roads very often.

Is microchipped and may have his HRM tag on (loses it often) but owner is out of the country and not immediately contactable.
