Additional Notes: This was a sighting around 11:30pm. The dog in the picture is not the dog spotted, but rather the closest looking photo I could find online. The dog I saw had shorter hair then the photo, but still shaggy. I could not get close enough to read/see any tags.

Additional Notes: “I saw 3 dogs on the run in the Coldbrook NS area ..2 salt and pepper pointers and one possibly solid brown pointer, collars and tags but definitely on the run lost ..possibly bird hunting dogs and definitely not used to the area ..stopped to try and get them away from the road but they were gone ..near the shell was the last sighting and then one crossing the road near the VW dealership.” Please share this sighting to help the owner narrow down their search area, thank you.

Additional Notes: Just spotted a dog like this walking along side of the 101 between Berwick and Coldbrook (closer to Coldbrook). It was walking on the four wheeler trail that runs beside the 101, heading towards Coldbrook on the right hand side. Appeared thin and muddy but unable to approach and only saw briefly. Hope he is not truly missing and/or gets home safe 🐶

Area: 155 Stokil drive, Lower Sackville, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: Looks to be an Australian Shepherd (Aussie), Blue Merle, but also could be a merled Border Collie. Black and white coat, long fur, well cared for coat. Healthy weight. Appears to be a young adult. Seen running towards the french school on Stokil, then lost sight. Animal Control has been alerted. NOTE: This dog’s white head may be an indicator for deafness… they may not respond when talked to.

Additional Notes: Does anyone in the far end of Coxheath recognize this pup? It’s been pacing Coxheath road between 2100’s and Levatte’s old pit for a few hours now. She(?) is petite, collared and looks otherwise healthy but obviously tired. She will not come close but food and water has been left in the pit entrance for her so hopefully she stays off the road for the night.

Area: Near 3509 Grand Narrows Highway, Boisdale, Cape Breton, NS

Additional Notes: There is a tricoat adult Amstaff mix with a blue collar, tail wasn’t docked, running up Grand Narrows Highway about 10-20km from Christmas Island going toward it (Christams Island – heading south) around house number 3509. I tried to grab him but he kept going onto the highway to avoid me – so I had to leave so he would stay on the shoulder. Looked underweight and was very skittish, but on an adventure, not in flight mode – possibly not lost for long.
