Additional Notes: She is a small, caramel coloured possible poodle mix, with only a little tiny tail. Very short ears with a sharp snout, and tight curly fur. Would weigh approximately 10 pounds. Was taken to Cobequid Animal Hospital around 7:30 p.m. on 08/29/13 to be checked for a microchip. None was found, and she is staying there overnight. She is not hurt, and is now safe. Doesn’t appear to be afraid of people, and was comfortable in a car. She was hungry, but otherwise appeared fine.

Sighted on: 8.25.13 around 10:48 a.m.

Additional Info: I was walking on the trial on the Waverley Road and I spotted a very shaggy small white dog. It ran into the woods as I walked along. As I got closer it bolted out of the woods up to highway number 2 on the Waverley Road this was around Joe street. I went back the way i came. and later I was in my car returning home. ( about 30 mins later) the same dog was running on the Waverley Road. It was closer to Dartmouth but not too far from where I initially saw it. It again ran into the woods when I stopped my car. The dog was in traffic prior to this weaving to avoid getting hit.
I would say the dog was about 20 lbs white poodle mix or possible pure poodle. It looked very matted and a mess. So it had possibly been running a long time. It was very anxious. I reported it to animal control immediately at 1048am this morning.
