UPDATE: A lost dog with no collar has been spotted several times in Tremont Park which is in the Rockingham neighborhood of Halifax. Friendly and comes out of the woods to play when other dogs and people are in the park. Has been spotted on and off for about two weeks. Now smells of compost so getting into someone’s garbage.

This dog was sighted running around in the area. Looks like it just got loose and quite happy about it. It’s garbage day in the area. It took off into Robin Close and disappeared.

Happy Ending: Home safe n’ sound… The experts were right, she stayed in the area and was found by her Mom… not too dirty and just so happy to be home.

A contractor working at my house let my dog out this morning and she didn’t come back.  Just found out she was missing when I got home from work at 5:30.  She has been outside since 9-10AM today (April 19th).  She is a 14 lb Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie), Sable colouring (white with tan and black).  One side of her face is white.  Pointy ears. Long hair.  Blue nylon collar. Has city id tag on her collar.  Name is Sasha.  She is timid and hates cars, noise and traffic. You will need a leash to get her into a car. She is not lured by food, cookies at all.

Happy Ending:  These two boys were found not far from home, but had gotten into a Porcupine … Animal Control was called, and they were taken to the vet.  They are safe n’ sound.

 

2 brothers missing from the McCormack rd since yesterday. The dark one is bear and the light one is Dakota. If you find them, please hold onto them . Thanks

Oscar was found over on Willow St. and is over at Homeward Bound City Pound. His owners are anxious to pick him up right at 8AM when the poúnd opens. I think he will want a good sleep in his own bed after his adventure!

We live on Charles St and have lost our dog Oscar.  He escaped through a hole in the fence at approx 7pm Mon April 18.  He is very friendly but not road smart.  He is a Wheaten Terrier with curly blond hair, looks like he could be a mix between a poodle and lab, weighs approx 42lbs.  If you see him please grab him and  we’ll come collect him in a flash .  He has a beautiful black nose but the only picture I have with me is when he had a red feather on his nose a Christmas time!  Hope you find him we miss him already.  thanks

Happy Ending: Scruffy is home safe and sound!! Thanks to Jes for saving this dog by taking him in and keeping him safe.  Yeah!!!  And thanks to anyone that spread the word about our Lost and Found Dogs!!! Yippee!!!

 

Male Bernese Mountain Dog with leather collar found in my yard.  Same one as seen on 107 i suspect.  I will hold on to him for a bit and try to find his caretakers.

Happy Ending:  Animal Control picked up this pup and it is Safe n’ Sound!

Family dog Max got out last night April 17 and has not returned.  He is very adventurous therefor could have wandered a good distance from his home which is in Porters Lake on Hill Top by the Community Centre.

Max is a schnauzer terrior, he is shaved and grey.  If you have seen him or found him …

A dog has wandered into our yard with no collar or markings. I am looking for the owner to return the dog to them.  – Dartmouth – Bissett St. area.  Sweet female Chocolate lab – Finder thinks she is around a year old.
