SIGHTED: 8 a.m. May 16/2011 – German Shepherd approx. 4 years old (?) sex unknown. Dog was spotted roadside (looked like it may have been going to cross the road) from Greenfield to South Brookfield (between the osprey nest and the South Brookfield sign). Please notify Animal Control if you see or know anything about this dog, thank you.

Happy Ending: This Beautiful little boy was lucky enough to be rescued and sent to the SPCA where they were rehomed after no one claimed him *Sigh*… what a cutie!

Updated: August 5/11 We were never in contact with the owners, and had only heard about the dog through their kijiji Ad. The ad has been removed. We are assuming this has been resolved in some manner, but will leave it as unresolved. *Sigh* It would be nice to know what happens to all the dogs, but sometimes we just never know.
LOST DOG: REX. He is BROWN PART LAB AND PART AMSTAFF, male, friendly. He disappeared around 8:00 pm on the BEDFORD HIGHWAY NEXT TO TAILWAGGERS. He has his collar on plus a green training collar.
Please check your yards/outbuildings and report any sightings immediately.

FOUND: Cassie had a fall off a cliff, Fire Dept. came to their aid– she has been checked out at the Vets, nothing broken – she is on pain meds and will be re-checked in Halifax. ALL at NSLDN send healing thoughts to Cassie. Glad you were found little one!

My dog went missing yesterday evening. She was out playing in the yard with the kids and she wandered off. She was last seen on the corner of Shore Road and Notre Dame Street in Sydney Mines. She is a retriever mix, long fur, cream and light gold color, she is a small-medium size, she is wearing a pink color with white dots and her name is Cassie. She is microchipped as well. Please help!
