June 13/11 – Update: This is an unresolved case. The owners never replied to our emails and now their Kijiji is taken down. I would like to think that Murphy is home safe and sound, but we may never know.

Dog lost this morning from Berlin St. Very friendly Heinz 57 mix- likely Collie/Lab mix. Back is black, head is brown, underbelly is cream. Answers to Murphy, has black and grey fabric collar with paw prints on it. Any information on his whereabouts is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Happy Ending: Breeze is home safe n’ sound. Thanks to the persistence of her owners, posters etc led to leads… and these leads led to Breeze being found. Details to follow in the future. Thanks to every that helped in finding Breeze by spreading the word. So happy for Breeze, her sister, and family.

Found Sunday June 5, 2011, Jack Russell Terrier, young female. Found wandering around Cranberry/Hibernia in Dartmouth. Dog was found with a collar but without any tags – white with brown patches.

Happy Ending: “Rocky” is home safe and sound after Dad read the poster at Yogi Bear Campground. Yeah!! Thanks to everyone that shared the info and to those that took such good care of this sweetie! Yippee!!!
Yesterday there were two loose dogs running through the campground, the Yogi Bear Camp-Resort in Kingston, Nova Scotia. They were very skitterish, but we managed to get one of them.
I called the Animal Control again and gave them the tag # and they tried to contact the listed owner to no avail. I would describe her as black and white ticked, and her name is Samona but she doesn’t appear to respond to that name at all.
She is a young adult Pointer/Lab Mix we are guessing, perhaps a German Short Haired Pointer and Lab. Leather collar. Very sweet and friendly and gets along with all the other pets.

These people never returned out emails and now their ad is removed from kijiji so I am going to assume there was a happy ending and this girl got home safely. Unfortunately, we may never know.
HELP!! I lost my dog, Chocolate Lab, female last night during the thunder storm. She is a big sook and took off. She is chocolate in colour and has no collar, because she broke it off… scared to death. She was last seen in the Hebron – Wellington Area. Please check your yards and outbuildings and report any sightings. Do not chase her, she is very friendly. Thanks!
