Breed or Mix: Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever

Sex: Female, Age: 4

Collar/Tags: Brown Leather Collar (currently set to third hole), Microchipped

Area: Linwood Harbour Road, Linwood, Antigonish, NS

Additional Notes: She has medium-to-long length red fur, with white markings on her forehead (triangle), nose, feet and tail. She is a little nervous around strangers (may bark), but can be won over with carrots, cheese or peanut butter. She is microchipped, but has no tags on her collar.

She bolted from the front porch when she became startled with the arrival of her “cousin” dog. She ran towards the water at Linwood Harbour (about 30 seconds away), but was no where to be found when we got there just after.

Additional Notes: Otis a a light colour brown,(might be considered an orangey brown) medium length fur. Very friendly and easygoing will come when called to anyone. He is not wearing his collar. Is neutered and about 8 years old and starting to get white fur around his muzzle.

Happy Ending: Home, Safe and Sound!!! Yippeee!!!  Or, well… will be home tomorrow after a night at the vets to remove Quills… Awe…  But, we are so happy for the family who did everything right to try and get their girl home.  Terrific!  And thanks to their community who helped with a sighting that lead to her getting home to safety.  Awesome!!  Of course, a big thanks to all who shared her info.  (4.2.12 – 4.3.12)

Addintional Notes:  FOUND DOG: Cole Harbour/ Merrimac Road/ HRM MALE: Choc Lab mix. He is now at Homeward Bound City Pound. “Found – app.7 year old lab/retreiver mix. Friendly. Found him wondering down Merrimac In Cole Harbour. Opened my door to check on him and he jumped in my car. gives lots of kisses. If he is yours, the city now has him and is trying to contact you.
