UPDATE: Happy Ending: Breeze is home safe n’ sound.  Thanks to the persistence of her owners, posters etc led to leads… and these leads led to Breeze being found.  Details to follow in the future.  Thanks to every that helped in finding Breeze by spreading the word.  So happy for Breeze, her sister, and family.

Found Sunday June 5, 2011, Jack Russell Terrier, young female. Found wandering around Cranberry/Hibernia in Dartmouth. Dog was found with a collar but without any tags – white with brown patches.

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Pointer/Lab Mix, female, black with white ticking - Yogi Bear Camp-Resort in Kingston, Nova Scotia

Happy Ending: “Rocky” is home safe and sound after Dad read the poster at Yogi Bear Campground.  Yeah!!  Thanks to everyone that shared the info and to those that took such good care of this sweetie!  Yippee!!!

Yesterday there were two loose dogs running through the campground, the Yogi Bear Camp-Resort in Kingston, Nova Scotia. They were very skitterish, but we managed to get one of them.

I called the Animal Control again and gave them the tag # and they tried to contact the listed owner to no avail. I would describe her as black and white ticked, and her name is Samona but she doesn’t appear to respond to that name at all.

She is a young adult Pointer/Lab Mix we are guessing, perhaps a German Short Haired Pointer and Lab. Leather collar.  Very sweet and friendly and gets along with all the other pets.

Happy Ending: Home Safe n’ Sound: Molly was smart enough to jump into someones car on the third day away from home, and her Mom was smart enough to have ID tags on her… that’s how she got home. Thanks to everyone that spread the word and kept this girl in mind… terrific!! Updated August 8, 2011.

Lost my dog on … across from the Southend Community Ccentre.  She is a black chow mix with a pink collar and a pink identification bone on her coller.  Her name is Molly. If anyone sees her anywhere please phone ….  She is very shy and gentle.  She is quite furry with a furry tail as well.

“We are happy to report that a lady contacted us from animal services (I reported him missing this morning) and she gave us an address where he had been spotted.. After many hours of searching with help from friends we found him! He was seen as he was stuck by a car which didn’t even slow down after but he got up and walked away. He is doing great and happy to be home!”

Thursday May 26th. He is light reddish brown (fawn) on his head, back and rear legs and has white on his chest, neck, face and front legs. His jowls (cheeks) have some black.  He weighs approximately 65 pounds. He answers to the names Duke or Dukie he is very hyper and friendly and has a tendency to jump. He is suffering from kidney problems at the moment and we need to get him home ASAP so he can be properly cared for. We are offering a $CASH REWARD$ for his safe return.
