LOST DOG: Ellershouse, Hants county – 15 minutes from Windsor. Female Chocolate Lab name is HOLLY. Owners were on an island where their cabin is so they did not think she could get off, but since the lake is so low right now there are several places where it would have only been a short swim to the shore. The young man started to drive her around looking for her owner and spotted her picture on the community mailbox. I was able to be there in 3 minutes. Thanks to everyone, especially Janet C. for everything you do out of the goodness of your heart.”

LOST: ENFIELD / went missing at noon – DOG is a senior 12 year old female Rottweiler – Name is SASHA .. she has been reported as being picked up by a concerned person on the 102 – does anyone know who this person is that wanted to keep her safe? Please cross post.
UPDATE: re: SASHA the Senior Rotti missing from Enfield. Seems the person that picked her up – then let her go around River Bend Court off Halls Road. Sasha was spotted but when the sighter went to get a rope she was missing …. PLEASE keep an eye out for her in this area.

Yes thank you guys sooooo much for all your help!!!! we had 2 reported sightings last night about 5ish, both saying they saw Cookie one at 1pm behind margolians and another at 2pm by subway on elm st. and we were told she was heading towards the west end of truro (robie st. or smith ave.) so Mary Anne went out and helped us look in that area (thanks sooooooo much again!!!!) and me and mom drove to the golf course, and tacc grounds but nobody saw her, so we dorve down ford st, and a few other back roads then went back to the dog park, and i got a phone call saying they had cookie in the kitchen and i could come to make sure it was her, so we went to hayward ave. and they met us outside, as soon as Cookie saw our van she jumped up and down and i called her name and the man holding her could hardly hang on, so i got out and he just had to let go! 🙂 she was found on Cresant ave. that afternoon and the man tyed her on a long rope gave her a bed and food and water and lots of attention. than he walked around asking ppl and a couple said that i lost my dog so they contacted me about 5ish!!!

HAPPY ENDING: Just got a call from Brandi’s very happy owner… Brandi is home safe n’ sound!! Seems like Brandi headed to the local dump and got stuck in a dumpster…. it was something she could easily get into, but no so easily get out of…Poor Brandi. She’s in good shape considering… so we will be adding Dumpsters to our search list from now on. Yeah!! We are so happy for you Brandi and her family. Thanks to all those that helped to spread the word and the SPCA for helping bring her home. Yippee!!! We are so happy for this sweet dog… take it easy Brandi and enjoy your summer! July 18/11
