Additional Notes: My families dog went missing a couple weeks ago in Whycocomagh, Cape Breton on the reserve. She went out to pee at 4 in the morning without her collar on and that was the last they seen of her. She’s 5 years old and is fixed. Loves people and loves attention, she’s a very good girl but will run if she has the chance. She’s a Siberian Husky, she has a white/gray/black coat with blue eyes. She’s a big girl, probably around 50-60 pounds. If anyone has seen of her please contact me and I’ll be coming to get her! Her name is Mia (pronounced My-a) We really miss her and want her to be back home, in Chester.

UPDATE: 12.26.18 – REWARD OFFERED: Murphy’s family and friends want Murphy back home where he belongs, is well cared for, and loved as an intregal member of their family. They had just moved into the area when Murphy, while outside with Dad, got disoriented and lost. Any information leading to Murphy getting home safely will be rewarded and so greatly appreciated. Additional Notes: Lost along Hwy 360 between Hiltz Rd and Brow of Mountain Rd W near Garland. Very friendly dog. She has a cyst around one breast (vet said not cancerous and not unusual for a beagle that is not spayed). Very healthy. Brown, Black, and White color. Rabbit Hound. Loves to hunt rabbits. We were rabbit hunting on December 7, 2018. It began to snow. We had heard her bell and bark distantly. We called and searched until dark for her, but the snow had quickly covered her tracks. We went back Saturday and called and searched again all morning with no luck. All we found were fresh rabbit tracks and fresh coyote tracks. We fear the coyotes got her, but hoping that she found her way to a nearby home.
