Monday, November 7, 2011: Sighted: Roaming Dog: “My mother just saw a brown small size mixed breed (possibly part chihuahua) medium length fur dog running loose on the Waverley rd in Dartmouth. He or she then ran up Breeze drive, where she lost sight of him/her. The dog was wearing a collar and tags. He ran from her when she tried to coax him/her over. This was approximately 4:20-4:30 pm Monday.” If anyone has any information or more sightings please call HRM Animal Services: 490-4000.

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Yorkie, female, adult, no collar, no micro chip - Westwood Hills Vet, 3650 Hammonds Plains Rd, Upper Tantallon, NS

LOST DOG: Windsor, Hants Co. MALE: Border Collie/Choc Lab mix. All Black with white stripe down his chest/ slipped his collar – at approx. 12:45 am – Nov.4/11. He is micro chipped. He was being taken to the Vet as he appeared to be choking. He weighs approx. 55 lbs. He is very timid. NAME: Shadow

My daughter found a dog on Brow of Mountain Road yesterday, Nov 1/11.  As you can see from the picture above, she’s a black lab cross (crossed with what I don’t know).  She had neither collar nor tags.  We suspect she’s been on her own for a little while as she’s quite thin.  She’s very friendly and has a great temperament.

Found today, Friday October 28/11,  at the corner of Central Ave and Ward Ave. in Greenwood – male Sheltie.  He seems to be an older boy who is very friendly, and well groomed.  In great condition except for being a little over weight.
