RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away.  It is with heavy hearts we share that Clancy has been found, but has passed away.  From his owner: “Clancy has been found, sadly he didn’t make it through his great adventure in the wild. He was found this morning close to where he went missing.  Thank you so much everyone for your efforts and words (of) support. It was a rough week. There’s solace in finding him and knowing that he had a long happy life.  He truly was a best friend.” Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family.  Thank you all for caring and sharing.  (9.24.13 – 9.30.13)

Additional Notes: Milo is a classic Black Labrador, and he is definitely a senior dog. He has a grey muzzle and lots of grey flecks in his coat. He has lost muscle mass in his hind quarters so he is quite narrow in the hips. His weight is 31kg. He has a heart condition due to age so needs medication daily. He is mobile but not agile. He was allowed out to do his business around 5pm on Tuesday 24 September and never returned. He is friendly and likes people. He is likely to approach strangers. He has a rasping pant partly due to his heart condition.

Additional Notes: Maggie is a sweet tempered dog who has a lot of energy for a 9 year old. She has a greying chin and belly. She rubs her ears a lot and her nails always are too long as she is only angry with you if you try to clip her nails or rinse her ears. She is about 70+ pounds and is in good health. She knows lots of commands and is well behaved at the dinner table. She was on our back deck and we did not realize the gate was open. She was gone for about 30 minutes before we realized she had gotten out. This had happened before but she has always returned within 45 minutes on her own. I am certain someone must have taken her in or picked her up as she would have returned home otherwise. Please help! She has been a part of our family since she was 2 months old.
