Just wanted to pass on that while out for a walk around my neighborhood this afternoon, I was made aware that an older gentleman in my neighborhood had just lost his dog. A few of us had a look around the area and called his name but didn’t have any luck finding him. I don’t know the gentlemen personally and we I only spoke to his neighbor, but I do know that the dog is a small-medium size dog by the name of “NELSON” and he lives on Greenough Drive in West Porters Lake where he took off running from mid afternoon today. The dog has never been out FREE before nor do I think he’s ever been off leash. I know how to contact the neighbor of the missing dog, if anyone has seen or knows ‘NELSON’S’ whereabouts.

These dogs seem to have been roaming for some time as they are quite thin.

Med. size dog wondering around International street in glace bay..dont know if it’s lost but i have never seen it in the area…not wearing a collar, looks like a golden retriever only a little smaller. A little timid but friendly.

Just wanted to let you know, in case anyone is looking. At approx. 6pm tonight, Wednesday March 23, I saw a chocolate lab roaming along the Cow Bay Rd. in Eastern Passage. I got out of my car and called to it but it just barked and ran down Yorke St. which is a dirt road off the Cow Bay Rd. I tried looking for it after that but couldn’t find it. It was wearing a green plaid collar.
Hopefully it found his owner but just in case I thought I’d send along the information.

This dog was found yesterday March 23 in South Rawdon on cross Rd. 3 (by the church) He is now with the people who rent to Parsonage. He’s been fed and wasn’t very hungry. You can pick him up from them if he is yours. First house past church on the same side.
