HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! Great news. First it was the kind person that picked up Sophie from the street, then the RCMP who took Sophie to the shelter, and finally to Darlene, Kings Co. Additional Notes: Schooner ran at the sound of fireworks and has not yet returned. We have been told that he was spotted on Highway #1 in Waterville late last evening (June 30). He is a very friendly dog who loves attention from anyone and everyone. He is an older dog has grey under his chin and is hard of seeing because of cataracts in both eyes. Gunner was outside of the house running and playing and then was gone.
