Additional Notes: FOUND: Small black female with thick black husky like fur. White paws and tail tip. about 6 months old. Looks rather “fox-like”.

HEAT WARNING: Pavement/Asphalt TOO HOT for Dog’s Paws!

HOT ASPHALT!These photos were taken at lunchtime today.  It’s even hotter now and will be hottest around 4:00 pm.  These temperatures show how a cement sidewalk, surface temperature shown on the left, can be much cooler than pavement/asphalt, surface temperature shown on right.  Please consider your pets paws when walking them on a hot sunny day.  Note: These photos were taken about 2 feet apart… amazing difference!  Here is some important information on Burned Pads on Dogs: http://vetmedicine.about.com/od/diseasesconditionsfaqs/qt/hotfeet.htm

Additional Notes: Lacey went missing with her son, Seven, around 8:30pm Wednesday, July 24th from 7 Grosvenor Cres. (Near the Boulderwood/Newlands Ave. Area of Sydney). She was wearing a purple collar, has a light colored, curly style coat. She has a friendly, but shy temperament. No microchip or I.D. tags. She slipped out the door by accident earlier this evening. Seven is a two year old, light colored Golden Doodle, fluffy long coat. Wearing a black collar, no tags or microchip. Very friendly temperament.
