HAPPY ENDING: Safe n’ Sound!! Yeah!! A big thanks to the folks that found this dog, took it in, and kept it safe. No owners have come forward. She will be getting vet care that she needs, and a new home in the next while. Thank you for sharing. (1.17.14 – 1.21.14)

Additional Notes: FOUND DOG on Douglas Rd, Greenhill, January 17th. Was seen wandering in area recently. She is very friendly and appears quite young. Was found with reflective collar as shown. She was very skittish and hungry, but quite comfortable indoors and with other dogs. Please contact us if this is your dog or if you know who she may belong to.

Area:  Hwy 101, Mary Jane Riley Rd., Between Cornwallis/Annapolis Royal, Annapolis Co., NS

Additional Info: There is a large Bk/Wt Amstaff roaming Hwy 101 between the Cornwallis and Annapolis Royal.  Near the Mary Jane Riley road. They did try to capture him/her but it ran back into the woods. She did not see a collar.

Additional Notes: Both dogs were hunting at time they went missing. Its very unusual for them to go and not come back and check in as they hunt along. Both dogs are very friendly. Brown, black and white fur. Smooth coat. Both very friendly. Took them hunting (behind the old dump-graywood?) but neither one came back, Couldn’t even hear their bells on their collars when I called them. Looked for hours before going back to Aylesford (where I live) I was hunting with my uncle.

Additional Notes: There was a storm recently, i let him out yesterday but everything was fine he came back. This morning around 10am i let him outside and when i went out to check up on him, there was part of the fence blown down from the storm and that is where he got out from. He has Smooth black fur, has a white colored belly and white paws. The tip of his tale has a tiny bit of white fur. He’s very friendly and trained well. The very tips of his ears droop down. He has was scratched in the neck from a cat when he was a puppy so he would have a line on his neck ( it not noticeable unless you’re really close to check because it’s white fur there).
