Additional Notes: Well groomed healthy liver and white Springer Spaniel. Followed us for about 1.5 KM during our walk in Haliburton Hills. Ran into Road frequently, into culverts putting herself at risk. Followed us without bidding right to our house. Stayed in our yard for 15 minutes when we decided to make inquiries. Very pleasant, well kept dog. Affectionate and friendly. Dog now in care of animal control as tags could not be matched to owner in system quickly. HRM making efforts to locate owner.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! YIPPEE!!! From the Family: “I want to thank everyone who searched so hard and so long for my Buster! It was an unbelievably stressful experience but at the same time, it was amazing to feel so connected to so many people, all working together to help a dog find his family!” I was so impressed with the effort put into finding Buster by his family (Kim/Rachel, Cousins and Grandmother), friends (Michelle/Tara/Hugh/and many others) and complete strangers. Area: East of Antigonish near the Cat dealer – 4295 Hwy 104, Antigonish, Antigonish, NS

Additional Notes: Dog was sighted running alongside and onto highway 104 east of Antigonish around 11:15am. He was running I traffic and when I stopped to try and get him off the road he was coming towards me then took off into the woods. A few minutes later he was watching me from the end of the driveway at 4295 Hwy 104. He was coming towards me again when a truck blew its air horn and he bolted into the woods again. I don’t know if he is lost or took himself out for a run but he looked quite skinny and scared. He has a short hair tan coat with a black nose, floppy ears and a white chest. My guess is he weight 40-50lbs

Additional Notes: Belle is a light brown/grey shih tzu/poodle mix. She went missing from our backyard around 6pm, only a few minutes after she was let out. She has never wandered away before, I was outside at the time, with our other dog who has to be on leash. We unfortunately found large Bobcat like footprints on the side of house, so we are not hopeful of getting her back, but just in case she is lost and you find her please call.
