HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!  This beautiful scruff-a-muffin has wandered back home and is safe and sound. Thanks so much to the kind people that reported this sighting and to all those that cared and shared his info. Yippee!! (11.22.15 – 11.24.15)

Sighted on: 11/22/2015 (off and on over the last two weeks)

Area: Randolph Rd., Cambridge, King’s, NS

Additional Notes: This boy has been sighted for the last two weeks on Randolph Rd., same as the Michelin plant. It’s important he gets back home safely as he seems to have been attracted to the area by a female in heat. With his colouring that blends in so well he is in danger of getting hurt on the roads and/or a concern with hunting season open. Animal Control is in the process of trying to contain this dog.

Additional Notes: Small black dog loose around the Portland Estates Intersection ~ Looks like a wiener dog but not 100%. He was wondering down towards Portland St. Superstore when first spotted. When I turned around he made his way across the street (phew!) and was on the hill leading to Spring Ave. When I stopped to try and get him, he ran away. He does have a collar and tags ~ just couldn’t get close enough to read them or catch him. Please keep your eyes open.

Additional Notes: He’s a super sweet dog. Grey and white hair and has an underbite .. We put him on his leash but the clasp mechanism broke. In about 2 mins of him being outside by himself he was nowhere in sight. We walked and drove all over and could not find him. It’s completely out of character for him to stray far from home. With the cold and everything else I’m really worried. Please please keep an eye out!

He is very friendly, doesn’t bark or jump up, doesn’t mind our cat at all, is very sweet natured and docile.
He doesn’t seem to know any commands, or at least any of our commands.
