Additional Notes: Older black lab mix spotted trotting down the sidewalk …, Wolfville (near Acadia University) at approximately 8:40am this morning.

Followed the dog and made contact just around the corner on … Dog was not wearing a collar. Dog was calm and friendly, so we were able to slip a leash on her.

Dog was clean, and appeared to be well cared for. She didn’t pull much on lead and knew the command “sit”. Greying muzzle, with salt-and-pepper fringe on her back toes and knees.

We took her to my wife’s office and contacted the SPCA; officers picked her up at approximately 10am. The dog was transported to the Kings Co. SPCA branch.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! We thank all that cared and shared. Thanks to the family for sharing that he was found on a porch this morning, completely worn out. This was a distant neighbour, so they guess he was just too tired to make it home last night with his brother. Glad to know he is back where he longs – a tad tired but safe. (7.14.17 – 7.15.17)

The other dog was luckily back in the morning. But Moritz is still missing. On the picture he looks much more “hairy” as he is now. I groomed him, so he looks smaller right now. Moritz is a VERY friendly dog. But maybe a little timid. He has a stiff right front leg, so he walks and runs funny.
