A family in Lake Echo rescued him from the highway and he was safe with them until today when I went to pick him up. Thank you to everyone who helped look for Peppe, who put up posters and shared on social media that Peppe was missing. He is home and having all the snuggles and treats he wants!!!!!” Thanks to all who cared and shared his info, but also those that created posters and flyers and headed out to search for him. Just fantastic news. YIPPEE!!! (4.3.18 – 4.10.18)

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away: It is with heavy hearts that we have to share the passing of this beautiful young lady. Unfortunately, she was suffering (greatly) from pre-existing conditions and the kindest thing to do was to stop the suffering. We know very little about this dog, where it came from or the reasons it may have been found roaming…now is not the time or place to speculate. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those that were touched by this Beauties beautiful eyes and we thank those that were able to assist her over the Rainbow Bridge. (3.31.18 – 4.2.18)

Additional Notes: He was found near the Five Mile River sign just before Dixson Rd on Hwy 236. He is very friendly. Thanks to the finder for getting him off the busy roads. He is now safe, and in the care of East Hants Animal Control.
