Additional Notes: FOUND this dog on Old Lawrencetown Road just down from Auburn High School in Cole Harbour. Dog is sheepdog breed, female, large, very friendly and sweet. Were able to leash her and walked her around neighbourhood to see if anyone was looking for her. Animal Control was contacted and dog is there waiting for owner to claim her. Call 311.

Yippee!!  This pooch was again sighted and caught by some great folks who turned her over to Animal Control where he would be safe.  The owners did show up looking for their dog and hopefully went on to pick him up at AC.  Just so happy he’s safe. Additional Notes: Found this big guy digging under a tree up top of Victoria Park near Wood Street by the town reservoir.  He has a green plaid collar with rabies tags from a vet in Windsor Ont. He has been left in the care of the Truro Vet Clinic on Arthur St in Truro. The town animal control has been contacted.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! It was reported on our Facebook page: “She is at Homeward bound City pound. She was found around 4am by a cab driver and brought to the Emergency clinic.”  And from the friend of the owner: “Thank you all so much for sharing and for caring so much for a dog you’ve never met! This is an amazing service, it’s very comforting to know there are so many people out there keeping an eye out for our fur babies! ” Yeah!! (3.10.13 – 3.11.13)

Collar/Tags: Blue is a black husky, small in size. She is old and has a droopy left eye as a result of a stroke she suffered.

Additional Notes: Mostly black, white a bit of white on his stomach and brown legs/paws. He was lost on March 10th around 8pm. He weighs about 70 pounds. We suspect he could be anywheres in Greenfield, Salmon River, Harmony, Valley, and/or Bible Hill, considering he runs fast and could have followed a car somewheres.
