Additional Info:  The below Chocolate Lab, male, approximately 1.5 – 2 years old was found Monday Sept 17th shortly after noon in the Eastern Passage area near Caldwell Rd and Cow Bay intersection. He is very friendly and well taken care of, he must be missed dearly.  He was taken to Eastern Passage Village Vet to be checked for a chip.

Additional Info:  LOST DOG: Halifax, Windsor Street, Halifax County MALE: Beagle/Boxer mix, 9 months old, wearing 2 collars, one red and one red with white bones, HRM tag. NAME: Sully He went missing Sept.16.12 at approx. 2:30 pm. He got out a window. He’s very friendly and loves other dogs. His coat is short and his ears are silky soft. His left hind leg was recently broken, so he walks with a limp, and since he very recently got his cast off, the leg has a rash.

Additional Info:  FOUND DOG: St. Croix/5362 Hwy 1/ Hants County FEMALE: Hound/Lab mix (?) appears to be 10+ years, no collar, no tattoo, she may be deaf, and her eyes are cloudy with cataracts. Found Sept. 16 at 1:30 am.

Rainbow Bridge: It is with great sadness that we share the news of a found, deceased Bernese Mountain Dog, on the 102 Highway.  A very kind soul brought this dog into the Elmsdale Animal Hospital.  The owners were eventually found, and  retrieved their beloved family member.  We would like to thank all those who sent in condolences and the wonderful folks at Elmsdale Animal Hospital.  Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to this family at this very difficult time.  (9.13.12)
