Additional Notes: slender build, black and tan markings through out, tan face black snout, very “crimped” tuffts on ears. Extremly timid, will bark continuously when approached but completely harmless, just very nervous, espicially of men. Loves other animals, children and treats.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound!  Terrific news, the owners were found and this sweetie is back home.  Thanks for those who kept her safe and off the streets.  (2/4/12 – 2/7/12)
FOUND DOG: Hubley – Five Island Lake Estates NS/ Halifax Co., NS FEMALE: Husky/Corgi (?) mix wearing a blue and green striped lanyard with black buckle. Short ( just approx 1 feet off the floor) but husky sized. Cury tail, whitish socks mostly on front feet. Long whiskers on snout. Found Feb.4/12 at 7:30 pm. Sweet disposition. Please cross post and if you know who owns this dog ask them to contact Animal Control Services @ 490-4000. Finder cannot keep her as she does not like other dogs.

Found:  female black lab(maybe a mix) running in my yard, about 5PM.  I live in Highland Park. She has a green collar on , no tags. She is timid,but I managed to get her in the house, I brought her in because of the cold. I will keep her warm, fed& watered ,while waiting for her owner to claim her.
My daughter is driving around  the park asking if anyone lost a black lab, with no luck so far.
I cannot keep her long, as  I just got a puppy  as an anniversary gift  & he hasn’t been to the vet yet.  Otherwise it would be no problem.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound!! From the Owners: “GREAT NEWS MOLLY WAS FOUND Molly was found In Hilden at the Scotia Pine Campground and is now at home resting . She is about 5 lbs lighter but other than that she looks good . A gentelman walking his dogs spotted her and called me Tuesday morning saying that Molly was on a picnic table looking pretty relaxed . When I got there she was walking around the last trailer near the woods and was then out of sight . I called her name and she came back around the corner and stopped to look . I then tossed 1/2 a hot dog towards her she smelled it and then just ran to me and from then on the sun shone brightly .

Many thanks to all who came out and helped to look and provided support . Without everyones incouragement and help this would have been a much more difficult task than what it was .

Additional Notes:  He is a big happy go luck dog, big floppy ears, will bark at people, and kids to play, he is not aggressive.  He loves kids, people, other dogs to play with.  He likes to come up to you, rub his back on your legs and sit on your feet.  He is very overgrown, playful, when he is home he lays on floor to eat.  He loves his big stick he plays with… he is our big baby.  He is cat friendly, all animal friendly as my animals were raised with different animals. He is soo friendly. His name is Bentley. We are sick without him, as he has never been gone this long.  His Aunt Cleeo, a long lanky think black lab is with him, she is very shy and timid, will not bite.  She is very wiggly in the bum when nervous.  They have been gone since 5 pm, Wed evening and haven’t been back.  Very out of character for them.  They were playing outside with my husband, got a sniff of something and took off.  They do this sometimes but are home in an hour.  Bentley is tan with black saddle markings, floppy ears, neutered, and some white on his chest.  Please if anyone seems him or his Aunt Cleeo, the lanky thin Black Lab…

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound!!! This cutie was sent to Animal Control/Homeward Bound City Pound and was not claimed… Needless to say, this cutie was gobbled up by some lucky family and has a NEW HOME, where it is happy, safe and sound.  Thanks to the kind folks who brought this dog in to safety and all those that cared to share his info.  Wonderful!! FOUND DOG: Dartmouth/Fury Drive/ HRM MALE: Terrier Mix, age unknown. This dog was found Jan.30/12 at 1 pm. Well fed, but appeared to have been out for sometime. Finder called Animal Services: 490-4000 and was told he would be taken to Homeward Bound City Pound: 407-7283. If you have any information please call AS or HBCP.
