FOUND: Roaming Dog: German Shepherd, female, young adult - Hwy 236 between Princeport road and Old Barns Fire Hall, Colchester Co.

Hi, I found a female german sheppard running down the side of Hwy 236 between the road to Princeport and the Old Barns fire hall on Sunday, July 10. She did not have a collar or tags and two of the houses in the immediate area told me she had been running around the neighborhood for the past two days but no one knew anything about her. I took her home and then took her to the vet on Monday morning to check her for a chip – no success. I have reported her to animal control, left a message with NSPCA in Truro and called the Big Dog radio station to report I had found her. I would like to get her back home if I can. I do not have a picture of her yet but she appears and acts like she is about a year old and other than being a bit thin she is in good health and is well socialized with people and other dogs. FOUND: Roaming Dog: Lab Mix?, female, black with white feet, purple collar - Guest Dr, Bible Hill, Truro

Found: Female black cross (about 40lbs) white feet with a purple collar found on Guest Drive, Bible Hill. No tags, just under 1 year old and appears to be in heat (most likely why she wondered off) Very timid and misses her home! Will keep at our place until Friday afternoon. Call:

Around 4:30pm (Saturday June18, 2011) on Princess Margret Blvd I spotted a white and brown Chihuahua running along the sidewalk near the self storage place.  I stopped to try and catch him since no one was anywhere near the area at the time.  He/she was timid and just ran along away from me and headed towards the 111/bridge ramp exits. Didn’t appear to be wearing a collar either.  I hope he/she finds their way home soon.  🙁

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Schnauzer/Poodle Mix, male, black, clipped - Garden Rd, Nine Mile Ricer/Belnan/Elmsdale Area

FOUND DOG: on Garden Road. Nine Mile River/ Belnan/ Elmsdale area. MALE DOG: Schnauzer, poodle mix (?) mid sized black dog with a red collar/white paw prints on it.
