There has been a black shaggy dog in the granton road, alma area running free for the last few days. It seems to have a chunk of blue leash?? attached to him. Very skittish…tried to call him/her near and they took off….this area is high traffic…if someone is missing him/her please come soon!!!  Please contact us at novascotialostdognetwork@gmail.com with any information.

“SIGHTING: 11 Grono Road/ Dutch Settlement Roaming Black Lab, appears to be wearing a chain collar. Spotter tried to coax the dog to her but he continued up the back yards on Grono Road. If you know of anyone missing a dog in the Dutch Settlement/Musquodoboit Valley please advise them of this sighting or call Animal Services at 490-4000. Last seen at apprx. 3:45pm Sat. FOUND: Roaming Dog: Yorkshire Terrier: Male, older, blonde/beige with black back, sweet, sickly - CN Railway Tracks, Behind Bayers Rd Shopping Centre, Halifax, NS

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Yorkie, male, senior, sickly – He’s about 9 lbs. full of fleas, mange, bad teeth, ear mites, worms, and the vet bills are going to be ridiculous. Mostly black and his body is quite long, he as blonde and beige around his face and ears and legs and feet. The sweetest little man. I found him on the CN tracks behind Bayers Rd shopping Center. Apparently he has been out roaming for about 2 weeks. Oh, I forgot, he can’t see he has green stuff oozing out of his eyes. My friend who owns Gentle Paws grooming opened up today to help bath him yet again to get the stink off of him and then to trim off all the mats. I am asking all you pet lovers out there to help me help him. I am taking him to the vet in the morning. I am self employed so I don’t have an endless amount of money. I am also going to beg the vet to help him as well. If it comes down to it, I’ll have to choose what is the most important thing that I can afford to do for him to make him comfortable. I have several fur babies and I am now worried that I’ve exposed them all to what he has. Not a good thing. So anyone willing to help, just let me know, and I’ll give you the name of the vet. I am not asking for money to be sent to me. I will say thank you to you all and hopefully we can all do some good for this little dude.

Also it is NOT ELVIS who is missing from Hammonds Plains area. We’ve already spoken. So keep looking for Elvis maybe we can bring him home too. Thank everyone for your encouragement and support. Emails have been pouring in all weekend.

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Shepherd Mix, male, adult, brindle, black collar - Hwy 1, Aylesford, NS

FOUND: Aylesford/HWY #1 (near Stoves and Sunrooms)/ Kings Co. MALE: Shep/Bulldog mix (?) about 7 years old, wearing a black canvas collar, intact. Found on Oct. 6th. Please cross post & Please contact Animal Services @ 902-678-3647 if you have any information.

FOUND DOG: Rawdon/ Hants County MALE: Beagle, neutered. No chip.

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Pomeranian, male, blue collar - Hwy 103 btwn Exits 3 & 4, HRM, NS

FOUND DOG: between Exit 3 & 4 on the 103. around 3PM, Sunday, October 2nd. BREED: Pomeranian wearing a blue collar. Male. The dog is terrified and very skittish.  The finder has called all agencies to report this dog. Does anyone know this dog? Please cross post. Please call Susan at 402-7523. FOUND: Roaming Dog: Shepherd/Lab Mix: female, young ~ 9 months old, black and tan, 50lbs - Hwy 101 between St Croix & Windsor, Hants Co., NS

FOUND DOG: #101 Hwy. between Windsor to Saint Croix/Hants County FEMALE: Possible Shep/Lab Mix young female est. 9 months old – black and tan color and body shape, ears are floppy. She weighs 50lbs. She knows how to “sit” and “give paw” so was definitely someone’s pet.She has been examined, de-flead, de-wormed and vaccinated so she can be transferred to the boarding kennel early this evening.If you know of someone missing their dog or have information please contact the Hants SPCA at hantsspca@gmail.com or 757-2000

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Terrier Mix: male, gray/black, ~30lbs - Italy Cross, Lunenburg Co, NS

FOUND DOG: Italy Cross, Lunenburg County MALE: Terrier mix – grey and black about 30lbs. unaltered, not wearing a collar. Was spotted in the area for about a week and was picked up on Saturday, Sept. 24/11. He is being cared for at the Lunenburg Animal Services. Very friendly. Do you know who owns this dog? FOUND DOG: Wed.Sept. 21/11 at 4:20 pm at the Wal Mart in New Glasgow. Male, neutered tan,grey & white Husky. Appears to be 1- 2 years old, neutered and is well cared for. Do you know who owns this dog? The dog is being cared for by the Pictou SPCA 396-3595
