RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away: Please join us in sending Jewel’s family heartfelt condolences. From her family: “Thank you to everyone who shared our post about Jewel and helped look for her. We are heartbroken to say a neighbour found her body in the ditch near our house. We can only assume she was hit by a car although nobody came forward to say so. Most of our neighbours were familiar with Jewel and I just hope she didn’t suffer…💙 We’ll miss that happy face and wagging tail greeting us each and every day 🐕 ☹️” We hope that in time, memories of sweet faced Jewel will only bring happy thoughts and smiles. UPDATE: 5.6.18: “Found” changed to SIGHTED – This dog escaped from the house that had found it and as far as we know is on the run again. Sigh! No owner had come forward. Hopefully this dog is safe. Report any sighting to Animal Control immediately, thank you.
