Additional Info:  “Just a heads up that I was just on the 102 and the SPCA and an individual were trying to catch what looked like a Doberman at the side of the highway. Traffic was very slow almost standstill. If you can pass along for people to be careful. And if anyone has an update I’d love to hear the dog made out ok.”

Area: 360 Holland Road, Fletchers Lake, HRM, NS

Additional Notes: This dog has been roaming on Holland Road for the last nine days. Animal control is involved in the case and they have a live trap set. So far no luck. I personally have never seen the dogs but a number of neighbours have and one of the neighbours was able to finally get a picture of Her/him today. Very scared. We are all concerned this dog will get hit by a car. No owners seem to be involved in looking for her/him at this point of time – hopefully this will reach her/his owner.

He is very skinny, tired and a little cut up . But all in all he is going to be okay . we are so happy to have him home again . He hasn’t left his bed since, but he needs all the rest he cant get . RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away: From Family Friend/Caretaker: “Unfortunately, Shadow was hit by a car on the Waverley road this am. During the last 4 years of life he has spent three of those years with me here. We loved him very much and he is dearly missed by myself and staff. He was a happy loving dog who enjoyed life, especially other dogs. Often we referred to Shadow as “A lover not a fighter”. He now is reunited with his best friend Zennie. Thanks you everyone for you assistance and support. We appreciate it.” Our deepest condolences go out to Shadows family and friends. Additional Notes: Thick white black and grey fur. has one blue eye and one half blue and half brown eye. He has grey on his foot that you can tell it shouldn’t be there, that’s from his constant digging at the kennel door, and why he needs to be wired under his kennel because he is pro digger outter!

Shadow is friendly but will not likely come to strangers. he will likely stand far enough away for you not to be able to catch him. he comes to me as soon as he sees me.

I suspect he is still the the Fall river/ Fletchers Lake/ Wellington area. if you do site him please call me and I will come there asap.
