Yippee!! Well, I guess walking the shores of the Bay of Fundy have kept Mr. Stubby Roberts in good shape, as he was found 20 km southeast of where he was lost.  Thank you so much for all the good thoughts and shares. We are just so thrilled for this Mississippi boy. Yippee!!! (5.31.14 – 6.4.14)

Additional Info:  Stubby lives near the Canada Creek Marina, but was lost on a walk about 1 km down the road (West) of his home. Near the house with the wooden carvings.  Missing, 14 year old male black lab, about 55 lbs, healthy. Dark green collar with phone number stitched into collar. MISSING from Black Rock (Annapolis Valley) area. Very approachable. Grey muzzle and 3/4 of a tail. Recently moved to the area from U.S.A.  We hope to get more details in the morning. UPDATED: 6.1.14 with actual photos of Stubby.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! Skye was found on Monday… Woooowhooo!! She was found in someone’s shed in Kinsac (nice folks who refused the reward) and was taken to the vets. She was covered in ticks and has some curious minor injuries, but she is home and being watched carefully… I could hear her in the background, she sounds great!! Brendan wants to thank everyone that emailed, called, searched and helped in any way…. he was overwhelmed with the generosity of folks.  We are just so excited… fantastic news! (5.30.14 – 6.9.14)

Posalie: black with small white marking on chest. Coat similar to a labrador. Both very friendly. Left together from our yard, were last seen crossing Clementsvale Rd. at about 10:30 am.

Gail is being kind enough to bring Cookie into CNAH to the owners who were worried sick. Additional Info: Found on Burris Drive in Valley/Bible Hill area. I came across this little dog (a female) tonight in the backyard. She was pretty muddy and dirty but she’s white with a light brown splotch on her side and same color on her ears and top of her head. Her skin is spotted black and you can see it on her underbelly. We will keep her safe for the night and then she will be going to central nova vet clinic on Main Street in Bible Hill at 8 am so the local animal control can attempt to find her home. In the meantime if someone is looking for her please let me know. Seems sweet and house broken was friendly and appears good with other dogs. Thank you.

We thank all that cared and shared and we thank the kind family for keeping him safe! ” The beautiful BC we found is named Shadow and we just handed him off to his owners! I’m pretty sure she found out through your info on the internet/Facebook… the forms. The owner was working on a farm when a electric fence zapped him and he bolted! The family was very very relieved and happy to see him… to see the dog play with the kids…was a great sight to see! thank you all for everything!!!” (5.28.14 – 5.28.14)

Additional Notes: We found this dog around 2 pm Wednesday May 28 wondering down the road between the top of Victoria rd and Harmony rd Aylesford NS. He is a male black and white border collie with a collar and may have another breed mixed in. His paws, legs and belly are very dirty and wet which may mean he’s been travelling. He is very friendly and responds when you ask for “paw”.

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away  – It is with heavy hearts that we share the death of an English Springer Spaniel on Hwy 103, near exit 4.  We can only conclude that it is the same dog that was sighted a few weeks ago chasing ducks across the highway. His luck ran out. We also want to send our thoughts out to the folks that had the misfortune of hitting this dog.  So sad all around. Thank you to all here who help missing dogs by sharing their info and help in bringing them home safely. (6.15.14)

Additional Info: Sighting of a liver and white English Springer Spaniel today at around 3:30 pm crossing hwy. #103 at exit 4 chasing a duck. Luckily dog made it across 4 lanes and back again towards Hubley without getting hit. Duck not so lucky. Thank you.
