HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!!! We are thrilled to report that MIA has been found and is home safe – a special thank you goes out to the local Fire Department. We are hoping to hear more details, but for now, we are thrilled she is home. Thank you to all who cared and shared her info. And of course, we are thrilled that Katie was found so quickly, on day two. HAPPY DANCE TIME!!! (11.25.18 – 12.6.18)

Katie and Mia wandered off when the gate to our fenced yard blew open. Katie is a black with white around her neck, on her chest and legs. Mia is brown with white around her neck, on her chest and legs. Both girls are friendly but could run if they are scared as they are not used to traffic or being away from home. Both girls are tattooed.

Additional Notes: Small German Shepherd mix with floppy ears sighted this morning near Cheverie. Walked into my yard but ran off into the woods when I went outside. I’ve never seen this dog in the area before. It squatted to use the bathroom, so could be a female or young male.

Huge thank you to the Stewiacke Community that kept an eye out for Shadow and those at the Wildlife Park as well. No one has called saying they’ve seen Shadow. Mom’s heartbroken. He’s an 11 month old Black Lab Retriever mix. He went out at 7:30am in the Shubenacadie East and they can’t find him anywhere. Please call immediately if you spot this friendly little bugger – he’s very loved and very missed. Wearing a black collar. Please share!!!!

She has an extra nail on her two front paws and she can be hyper. She sits and gives paw if you get her attention. But does not bite. Very friendly. Loves the mailman – kind of dog she is – he is helping with our search. SPCA has been notified.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! At least we hope they are… these runners have been identified as living in the area of the sighting and have been known to be allowed to roam. Area: Gaspereau River Bridge, Melanson, Kings, NS

Additional Notes: I just sighted two dogs running across the Gaspereau River bridge in Melanson (in front of Reid’s Meats) and and along the dykes. There was no person with them and they were moving along quickly, looking a bit disoriented. I didn’t get a photo but they both looked like weimaraners. I wasn’t able to go search for them, but after nearly hitting them on the road, I did turn around to see they left the road and headed down along the River.
