Additional Notes: : Hi everyone , this is our family dog Tango. She has been missing for almost a week now . She had snapped off her leash and went for a run. It’s unusual for her to be gone, she always comes back home. We are all very worried about her as it is hunting season and scared she may have chased a deer. She was last seen at my family home in Chignecto , and maybe in the Fenwick,Nappan or Maccan area. She is a very friendly, hyper dog and she is almost 6 years old. We really miss her and want her to come back home safe and sound. Thanks !

SIGHTED: 11.16.15 and 11.17.15: Rex has been sighted twice in Pentz along the Pentz Rd of Hwy 331. Once last evening around 10 pm and again this morning. Please share and report sightings to his family immediately.

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away: We are sad to share that Fancy was found passed away. From her Family: “SAD NEWS. We are heartbroken. We buried FANCY today, she was found in EAST CLIFFORD with a high caliber deer rifle shot to the chest..RIP GIRL. PLEASE KEEP SHARING FOR REX…” Our heartfelt condolences go out to Fancy’s Family at this tragic time. We pass on hope that Rex will be found alive and well. Yeah!! We thank all that cared and shared and the finder for keeping him safe. “His owner came running out of the house in her pajamas calling his name, and he clearly responded as their pet. They had been out looking for him through the night. ” (11.6.15 – 11.7.15)

Collar/Tags: Modified dog collar. Only tag is the HRM tag.

Area:  South End Halifax, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: Dog’s name is Smokey. He is lanky but in good shape, hence the estimate of his age at 2-3 years old. Not hungry. Obviously well cared for. Gentle. Traditional Saint Bernard colouring and markings. Animal Control has contacted the only number they have on file for the owner but there is no answer. They left a message at that number with our information so the owner can call us directly. We found this dog running loose with his leash attached, and a second leash tangled with his leash, at 7pm Friday night Nov 6/15 in South End Halifax.

Additional Notes: He has a smooth brindle coat, with a small white vertical stripe on his forehead, a white patch from his chin to his chest, one white paw, a black nose and a short curled tail, that is really unique. He is approximately 65lbs, and is usually quite submissive around other dogs, and a great tempermant.
We have no idea why he would have ran away. He is off leash daily, and has never ran off before.
