Yeah!! Here’s the story from their owner: “At the end of our point not far from my house is a tidal island, Micou’s, which ten years ago we and the people of St. Mgt’s Bay fought hard to protect. Eventually we raised $1m, bought it, and title was given to the people of NS, YOU!, in perpetuity. Site of a heritage fisherman’s cottage and a Mi’kmaq burial ground, you can walk out there on a sand bar for two hours on either side of low tide. That is exactly what my two little miscreants must’ve done last night during their walk. A little detour… Ahem. They must’ve slept in during low tide this AM around 10, but this aft I spotted them out there happily traipsing through the salt marsh. I called. Luna tried to swim back, but the current was strong and the water very cold. Good lesson for them. Cold and hungry I have no doubt they will appear here at home around 8 tonight two hours before the next low tide. They WILL appear, because I will go out and escort them home! Thanks to all of you for your concern! Case closed, happily I’m glad to say.” Wonderful news, so thrilled they are home now. Thanks to all who cared and shared and to Leonard for mentioning the island, bravo! (11.23.16 – 11.23.16)
