Additional Notes: Oakley is a lighter coloured long-haired golden. His nose is mostly pink, and he has brown eyes. He is very friendly but can be quite timid as well and takes caution when meeting new dogs. He doesn’t normally bark, and is very mellow when in the home, tending to choose a quiet spot to relax away from the noise – that being said he is very scared of loud noises! He has had an identifying microchip put in, so if you take him to the vet they should be able to confirm it is him! At the time he was lost he was quite sick as he had an infected rash around his groin area (he is neutered). The skin appears raw and is warm to the touch and the fur in this area has been cut shorter.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! We thank all that cared and shared. “Rylan was found this morning with an amazing help from friends, family and the community. I can’t thank everyone enough for helping look for Rylan, for those who shared Facebook posted and spread the word. He is off to the vet for a check up, he is cold and a little scared but will be back in his warm bed before he knows it! Thank you to everyone again!!!” (10.30.16 – 10.31.16)

Area: 320 Block of Purcell’s Cove Rd, Williams Lake, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: This dog was sighted running towards Williams Lake Rd in the 320 Block of Purcells Cove Rd. This was on the right-hand side of the road. Very skittish and could not be approached. However, they were able to scare it away from the busy round and in behind the nearby houses. Animal Control has been notified. This was a Red and White Papillon type dog. Sex unknown. Collar unknown due to thick fur and quickness of the dog.
