Additional Notes: this dog has been noted running loose for days in and around the Hardwood Hill cemetary. Cars were having to stop in the road not to hit him – not sign of owner nobody knew who owned him – frightened and thirsty – collar was too loose – aside from being terrified the dog was friendly – nails too long – afraid in the car – he is now at the Cape Breton SPCA – he clung to me like he was in huge need of love – poor boy

HAPPY ENDING: Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! This sweetie is no longer in the care of Homeward Bound City Pound. Our job is done, this dog is most likely back home. HBCP knew nothing about an investigation as suggested, so maybe it was just a bad choice of words by the switchboard. Unless they just meant they were confirming ownership.
