HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound: Lost Dog: South End Halifax, Halifax Co., NS — Jack Russell Terrier mix, Female, 4 Yrs — “Roxy”

Roxy

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From her very happy rescue family: “Roxy is back with us safe and sound!!! We just received a call from some people walking near ppp and they had seen our poster after seeing her run into the park. It was pitch dark but we came armed with a bbq burger and a good squeaky toy and she eventually came to us (the hamburger) lol Thank you all so much for your hours of help in finding her.” Wonderful news! Big thanks to all who took time to search or keep an eye out for this little scruff-a-muffin. Thanks also to all who cared and shared her info. YIPPEE!! (9.12.18 – 9.13.18)

Breed or Mix: Jack Russell Terrier mix

Sex: Female, Age: 4 Yrs

Collar/Tags: Orange Collar, Purple Harness, Black Leash/Micro-chipped

Lost on: 09/12/2018

Area: South End Halifax, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: DO NOT CHASE… She finds it a game and will run from you. A tennis ball will lure her in and going low and slow will help capture her, but do call in your sighting first, thank you. Roxy is beige with medium length, scruffy coat. She was microchipped yesterday. She is wearing an orange collar, purple harness, black leash. She is sweet but she thinks you’re playing chase when trying to catch her. She is motivated by balls more than food. She is approximately 40lbs and appears thin. Roxy escaped from her Foster again, as this is what she is very good at and is missing in the South End of Halifax near Robie St and St Mary’s University. Please share her info so she gets back to safety, thank you.

LAST SEEN headed towards SMU.
