HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah! A huge thank you to all who reported sightings and helped Bowser during his extensive travels. I know there were more, but big thanks to Nicole and Kimberly. Kerk, Bowser’s Dad, did everything right…this is a great example of what is known as a Finesse Capture, so important for a skittish dog like Bowser: “He was on the side of a house and Kerk sat in the grass….. slowly fed him a cheeseburger softly talking to him! Bowser kept getting closer and then Bowser licked Kerk’s face!!! And then Bowser just started crying…. he snuggled right up under Kerk’s chin!” Gives me chills every time I read it. Thanks to all of NSLDN for caring and sharing Bowser’s info…it works! YIPPEE!! (5.2.18 – 5.20.18)

Additional Notes: Bowser- 1 year old, medium to small male dog. Mostly black with white chest. Missing from New Waterford.
Bowser has been missing since May 2 and as of yesterday, May 13 was seen along the road near Morien Sandbar heading towards Mira.. He may turn off Hornes Rd. but it seems he has been sticking to paved ones.
**Important to know that this dog has been on the run for a while now and is not acting like himself. He is in a survival mode and should not be approached, called or followed. Report sightings please.

99% sure we just saw this dog running up Mitchell Avenue toward the Gardiner! Sent a text message to the owner but haven’t heard back yet.
I saw him in Dominion this afternoon, and near the gardiner tonight- on the road both times.
Pretty sure I saw him this morning and again at noon
Called the number above and was told it wasn’t correct, and they were getting a lot of texts
