HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From his very, very happy family: “… I got a text with a photo saying he was two blocks up so I ran all the way and I saw him as he saw me and busted out of the trees crying and shaking and licking me all over.” That’s just wonderful! Thanks to all who tried to help and reported sightings. Thanks as well to all who cared and shared his info. YIPPEE!! (8.23.17 – 8.24.17)

Breed or Mix: Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix

Sex: Male, Age: 1.5 Yrs

Collar/Tags: Black and Green Collar with Leaf Motif/ID and Rabies Tags

Lost on: 08/23/2017

Area: Bedford, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: Lost in Sandy Lake Park at 12:30pm, he has been our family pet his whole life. Friendly. Was swimming with a group with our dog walker but was noticed missing on return to the car.

    ‘Lunchbox’ was last sighted at 8:15am on 24th August on Smiths Rd near the park, but bolted when called to, so he is still in the area. Owner says: Anyone who finds him shouldn’t chase or yell to him, or bring other dogs along because he is spooked. Owners are in the area searching today, so call Jo or Maria at numbers provided if you sight him.

    Lunchbox has been found and is on the way home with his owners. I’m sure that they’ll pass along a happy ending message when they get the chance.
