HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound: Found: Roaming Dog: White Hills Subdivision Entrance, Pockwock Rd., Hammonds Plains, Halifax, NS — Black Lab/Husky Mix, Female, Adult — “Unknown”

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah! From her Family: “Hi everyone. This is my little escape artist Ghita  I got her back this evening safe and sound with homeward bound.” Thanks so much to all who cared and shared. Terrific news. (7.27.15 – 7.28.15)

Breed: Lab/Husky Mix

Sex: Female, Age: Adult

Collar/Tags: No

Found on: 7/27/15

Area: White Hills Subdivision Entrance, Pockwock Rd., Hammonds Plains, Halifax, NS

Additional Info: She’s a beautiful natured, black dog with bright blue eyes. Looks like she’s part lab part husky. Tall, lean, and super sweet. I pulled over when she almost got hit by oncoming cars, and she came right over and tried to get in my car immediately. I gave her water, and stayed with her for an hour while I waited for animal control to come get her. She was so loving, and seemed well cared for. She could give paw, sit and lay down on command. Poor girl was clearly missing home and seemed a bit distressed looking for her family.
