I am the rep for Canadian Border Terrier Wrlfare in NS. This dog looks to be a purebred BT, and should have a microchip or tattoo. CBTW is an incorporated Border Terrier ” rescue” group. Please get in touch should the owner be not readily found ! Border terriers in need are our concern.

Thanks Anna, you will have to contact Animal Control or Homeward Bound City Pound directly with this information. Once a dog goes into the care of Animal Control it becomes a legal issue between them and the owners. We are not at liberty to know if this dog got home. It could be home now. Hoping for the best… So, you will need to contact the above folks to discuss your concerns. Thank you.

    Hello Anna,
Please note that once a dog is in the care of Animal Control Services we are not privy as to the status. Please do contact Halifax Municipality at 311 or call Homeward Bound City Pound at 407-7283 to offer assistance.
Nova Scotia Lost Dog Network is a volunteer organization whose goal is to reunite lost and found dogs.
Thank you for being a rescuer.
