I saw a Golden Retriever on Exit 1E New Glasgow on August 29th. Was heading down exit towards Mt. William. Had no collar or handkerchief. Stopped and tried to get dog to come to me, but he ran down the ramp towards Mt. William.

I honestly hope this isn’t your Max, but I want to pass along. I would want to know if he were mine. Was travelling to Cape Breton 09/11/14 on the 104 and saw a (sad) deceased what I could tell was a fluffy lab laying in the grass on side of road. Left side if you were heading toward the Cape. I could not see signs of what the area was called, so the first thing I saw was a mile marker 183 which would have been about 2 km past where I saw this. I would have stopped but flew by so fast and in the middle of heavy traffic. I just hope someone was able to stop and look for a tag. I will also look on my way back. I hope this helps someone.

  6. Max was found under a guard rail at French River. He almost made it home, he tried his best traveling over 40 kms each night searching each quadrant but it wasn’t meant to be. He was a great dog and will be greatly missed.
