RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away – It is with great sadness that we share the tragic news that Meko was hit and killed on the roads. We want to thank the RCMP for taking the time to inform the owners and a big thank you to all who cared and shared. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to the family at this difficult time. We send you healing thoughts and hope that in time memories of Meko will only bring smiles. (8.6.14 – 8.17.14)

Breed or Mix: Terrier/Poodle Mix

Sex: Female, Age: Senior dog, 14-15 years old

Collar/Tags: Wearing a collar (unsure of color)

Lost on: 08/06/2014

Area:   Macdonald Crescent Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, NS

Additional Notes: Meko is beige colored. Her coat is quite short, but she has not been shaved in a while. She is deaf and blind and shows signs of dementia. She went missing on August 6/2014 during the thunder and lightening.

    Hi I have called and informed the owners already that I located this dog deceased after being struck by an automobile. I’d sent a message earlier to say if such a dog was added to the system. Sadly this old girl is gone to the rainbow bridge.
