UPDATE: Possible Sighting: June 26/14. “about 2-3 km past the wildlife park, where salmon river runs on the left, she came out of the woods, walked for a little bit on the side of road and ducked back into the woods”

Breed: Border Collie Mix, “Med size, long haired, black dog with white on nose and floppy ears”

Sex:  Male ??  Age:  Adult

Area:  Near Two Rivers Wildlife Park, 4581 Grand Mira North Rd., Marion Bridge, Cape Breton, NS

Additional Info:  Sighting of a “med. size, long haired, black coat, with floppy ears, white on nose” on June 22/14. Last sighted running on Sandfield Road at 8 pm.

    I left this in the comments section of the post but then thought perhaps this was the proper place to put it.I spoke with the lady at the gate of the
    wildlife park.She is up and down the road several times a day and has not sighted the dog.She did ask me if it was a truck or a SUV? as her father has a dog fitting this description and lives neraby the park area.This dog is known to follow her father’s truck if he is not allowed to go in the truck.Apparently,the dog follows to a certain point and then turns back.I asked some people in the areaand no one had seen any dog in the area,except the father’s dog.As a point of clarification,if we knew whether the dog was actually seen being evicted from the vehicle and what type of vehicle,it may help to clarify a few details.I’m just asking for clarification,not saying this is the dog spotted
