HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yippee!! “OMG I just got a call from a gentleman who has found Griz.  He is safe and inside the gentlemans home now… Happy Tears flowing freely. Thank You everyone.”  Thank you for caring and sharing… fantastic! (1.11.14 – 1.15.14)

Breed or Mix: Pomeranian

Sex: Male, Age: 7yrs

Collar/Tags: No Collar

Lost on: 01/11/2014

Area:  Old Sambro Road, Spryfield, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: Brown and black with a white muzzle. About 7 1/2 years old. 8-10 lbs. not neutered, no collar, never out roaming before, likely very fearful. Long haired ungroomed, greeting muzzle, barks a lot, fussy about treats, people food will attract him better. Sometimes limps from hip surgery years ago. Nips sometimes. He is my neighbours dog. I am going to get ready and go walk the neighbourhood to try and find him. He will be very afraid. He has little dog syndrome and barks at anything that moves when he is in his yard.

Still no luck in locating Griz. I am very worried about the sweet little lad. Please share far and wide to help us get him back home. Thank You.

During a search this morning it was reported that Griz was seen @ approximately 10:00 Saturday night by Long Lake across from Dentith Road.

There were 3 sightings of Griz all at approximately 10:00 pm Saturday night. That gives us an idea of when he got out.
All three people saw him in the same area. We believe that he crossed the road when he got loose ran down Old Sambro to Dentith and then crossed the street back to the original side and ran into some bushes by Long Lake.
We have searched both right and left of where he was last sighted. We checked by the road and back well off the road but no luck.
Hoping he is found or manages to find his way home.
I am concerned that there have been no sightings since he got out 🙁

No luck yet. People have been out looking this evening with no luck. However we have found out about two more sightings this morning on Elizabeth Avenue and Lynwood. These both run off of Withrod. Griz was seen on Withrod and Osbourne last night.

I will update again once he is home safe and sound. Happy Tears flowing freely.
