UPDATE: 1.13.14 – Possible Sighting: “We had a potential sighting mid week last week that wasn’t called in to us until saturday night (1.10.14) but no luck locating her. We’re not sure if the dog spotted was Claire but it was down near the Haille House by the Lahave Bakery so it’s a possibility. Collar/Tags: Multicoloured nylon collar, rabies tag

Area: 39 Brook Road, Pleasantville, West Lahave, Lunenburg, NS
Additional Notes: Missing Female Black Lab mix. Missing from Pleasantville/West Lahave area. Approximately 65-70lbs. Multicoloured nylon collar. Missing since morning of Thursday December 5th. Her name is Claire. She is loving and gentle but a little scared of strangers. She has some thinning fur on her belly. She has never been separated from her sister / littermate or my children and we are very worried. This is my little boy’s dog so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I look everyday I drive in and out of town ..I hope she makes it home soon..I live in pentz ..I also recieved a flyer from yous ..I will continue to look till she is found.
One reported sighting in riverport area!
There is a dog that seems to have no owner running from yard to yard in Riverport/ Lower Lahave and sheperds hill area, she has been seen many times now for about 2 weeks, Is it possible that she crossed the river some how?

Hi Angie, it’s certainly possible that she got across the river somehow so I am going to come over and flyer the Shepherd’s hill area in the morning and hopefully we can locate this puppy. Even if it’s not Claire maybe we can get it back to it’s home. If you see her again, please try to coax her in by calling her gently.
