Thank you for saving our puppy. She is a runner and finds ways to escape squeezing under as many gaps in our enclosed fence as she can. You put barriers she gets through them. We now call her Oreo Houdini. If you ever see her; return her to Butt’s Store in Membertou; but now she’s equipped with regular info. tag and QR scan. A QR scan is something you download on your I Phone or Blackberry. you scan the code; and all information about her pops up on your phone in 2 seconds with all our contact information. Just got that yesterday by a technical person who came to help me knowing I had a “runner”.

That sounds great Janice. However, if she every ever escapes without her collar or looses it, it’s best to have a microchip as well. Your Vet should be able to do it for around $35. It shouldn’t cost a vet visit and if it does, shop around. All Animal Controls, Vets, SPCA’s, etc., scan for chips. So a combination of collar tags and a chip is the best. Also, limit the time a puppy is left alone, if at all, in a yard. Boredom often leads to escapes. Best of luck, puppies are busy and sounds like you want to do everything right. Ann Morrison

The little dog that was black with a little brown was found at549 gray rd westville pictou county not Annapolis county

I’m sorry about the mistake. It only said 549 Gray Rd, and nothing else. The search came up with Debert. Annapolis Co., is the default county when none are chosen from the list offered. Thanks for the update.

      Ann Morrison
