HAPPY ENDING; Home, Safe n’ Sound! YIP YIPEEE!! From the Owners: “Winnie found her way to the live trap this morning, Thursday May 16. 3 weeks after she went missing. Thank you everyone for sharing and giving advice, it all helped bring Winnie back home.” We are beyond thrilled. Welcome home Winnie! (4.25.13 -5.16.13)

 

UPDATE: 5.13.13 – From the Owners: “Winnie has been missing for 18 days. she is frightened and hiding. If she is sighted please do not call her name or whistle for her. Just contact the owner immediately. We have live humane traps set and that was the area she was last sighted but the trap was set off by another animal. (We have a camera set up outside the trap).”

Additional Notes: Winnie is very timid although not aggressive. Last spotted around 4 pm today in the Saxby Lane area. Slipped out of her collar while out for a walk.

    Maybe you should talk to the Mailman in case he sees something on his travels.

    If she is fed at the same time everyday that is a good time to search. It is said that if you call for her she will mostly likely to run away because she is scared. Put a piece of clothing on the ground with some food and she will stay close to one of those area when she finds it. If she is scared she will be in a hiding place and will not come out till she feels it is safe to. If there is a back yard that looks familiar to yours she maybe there thinking it is home. I hope she makes it home safe, she will be in my prayers.
