It’s important to go to the long grey building (railway shanty) the base of Melody Dr. and leave a flyer with the railway workers. It would be very dangerous for anyone to wander around the tracks on their own, but the railway carmen walk the line all the time and will keep an eye our for him.

      Thanks Marjorie
Went there yesterday and the CN people were there when he went running too. They took a drive up the tracks to try and find him, so they know that he’s on the run. They have our phone number and will call if anyone sees him.
Thank you for mentioning that. We were told that we wouldn’t be allowed on the tracks.

I know people have searched along the tracks for this little guy, but have they searched across the highway and up into the MSVU and lower residential Rockingham? I wonder if he didn’t cross the hwy and could possibly be hiding in a shed/under a deck. There are little pockets of green space where he could go as well.

Ben is still missing. It is now more than 3 weeks and there has not been one sighting. . If he is out there, he will be quite frightened by now and may be too timid to come to anyone. He may also have lost his blue collar and/or blue nylon harness. We continue to monitor the area where he was last seen, but no-one has any information to share. There are still posters up in most of the place that we have placed them. Would appreciate people continuing to share and repost on this website.

Had about 15 min. of hope today when I saw on the animal control website that they had picked up
a Yorkie yesterday in Eastern Passage. Not sure how Ben would have made it there but you never know.
As it turns out the website was wrong and it was a female not a male. The animal control person said that I was the first person that she thought of until they made the correction. Right after that the sister of the lady who found the dog called us hoping that it was ours. She said the poor little thing was in pretty rough shape.
If you know of anyone else missing a Yorkie tell them to get in touch with animal control by dialing 311.
We’ll continue to pray that our little one is safe somewhere.
