Indy

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away!  We are so sorry to share that Beautiful Indy has passed away.  From his owner: “Just letting you know that our Indy has been found. He was snared, then shot, even though he had a collar on. The “trapper” said that he thought it was a tracking device for coyotes.”  At least he came forward and told the truth as to what happened, and that much is better than never knowing.  We are so saddened by this… we pass on our heartfelt condolences to Indy’s family.  Bear, the Husky/Golden Retriever is still missing.  (2.7.13 – 2.28.13)

Breed or Mix: Pure bred Husky

Sex: Male, Age: Adults

Collar/Tags: Shock collars

Lost on: 02/07/2013

Area: Dean Road, Hebbville, Lunenburg, NS

Additional Notes: Indy is the Siberian husky. Both are very friendly dogs.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Remember Indy everyday and he will live on forever. I’ll tell my cats Manno and Torby and Buddy and Ray and Max and all the others to wait for him at the Rainbow Bridge and show him around.

I’m sorry, sorry sorry this happened to this beautiful animal.

This whole situation breaks my heart. The above post made me cry as well… it’s devastating that Indy’s gone, but to know that there are some other much-loved critters waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge might offer a small amount of comfort. Rest well, little guy.

I am so sorry for your loss, Why ,why ,why do these people set these snares and then act so carelessly ??? At least he owned it, but I am sorry for that poor dog! Please trappers be responsible!! At least you know now what has happened to your furfamily member.. Hoping for good news on the other dog. My thoughts are with your family and your loss.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your Indy. I have had a dog caught in a snare when I was a boy. My Dad had to have him put down. This was in no way your fault , as ******* has stated. I truly hope that your Indy and my Shawn are playing together in their next life.
